Abstract
Choledochal cyst is a rare congenital dilation of extrahepatic or intrahepatic biliary tract. Spontaneous rupture of choledochal cyst is very rare but important cause of peritonitis in children. We experienced a case of the perforated choledochal cyst and biliary peritonitis in a 3-year-old girl with abdominal pain and vomiting, which was treated by resection of choledochal cyst including gall bladder and Roux-en-Y hepaticojejunostomy.
